Have I got everything?!

Seeing as there's only 7 weeks and 3 days (!!!!) until we pick up Teddy and Pookey, I need to run through the things I have, I think this will also help me to see if I'm missing anything.
3 x bags Royal Canin Kitten 36 dry food
48 x Felix as good as it looks Wet food
1 x Worlds best cat litter
2 litter trays
1 small cat tree to get them started (I do want something bigger at some point when they grow out it) but our apartment isn't exactly huge!
1 massive cat scratch post
2 horizontal cat scratch mats
Lots of cat bowls
Feliway spray
Kitten brushes
So many toys I can't even remember what I have!!
Anything else????

  1. You are well prepared! Better than me that will bring the kittens home in 10 days, actually.

I bought a big cat tree (180 cm high) and we had to find the right spot for it in the living room, because our flat isn't huge either. It isn't small and it is a great size for my husband, me and two cats, but not enough for all the cat toys and lounges and cat trees I would buy, if I had the space.

I will change my tree someday, even though it is tall and sturdy, I want a wooden one. The cats are supposed to like it more, and it would match our furniture better. But the one we have so far will be great until I find the perfect wooden cat tree (no luck so far, but I am not in a hurry, I am sure I will find it eventually).

A scratching item that is high on my whiting list is this:

It can be customized with the colors you want for frame and carpet, is eco friendly and it looks amazing. Also, I can put it in a wall that already has paintings, because it doesn't need to be that high, just high enough for a cat to reach when completely stretched. so it will look nice, while saving space for other scratchers as well! :D

    1. The wooden ones I've seen look really nice, we are hoping not to he in the flat for many more years to be honest, so I've got enough to keep them occupied regarding scratching things! Bit worried about our sofa, it has the material of one giant scratch post!! Uh oh!!

That link you posted looks great!

    2. My husband and I plan to move from here at the latest in 4 years. But when we move, it will be to our own house, so I don't know how long it will take for that. But I only want to move once again in my life. packing and unpacking is a bitch.

I am in a quest to find tasteful cat toys and furniture, that will look nice with the decoration. But it is hard.

Well, slowly I get there. the kittens have all they need for now. with time i can give them some new things, that we will all like (me and the kittens, I mean).

    2. I bought a big carrier as well, its more for small dogs. I know my kitty will get bigger as he gets older, so buying a big one now will be a good investment.

  3. I spent a long time today trying to find a theme for my blog that I like. one that I can customize accordingly. And I found one! I am ordering a custom drawing of me and the kittens, to be the header of the blog, instead of the default one. I can't wait for it to be ready, it will start to look more like a "proper" blog/website after it.

Do you plan to customize yours? different theme with a header (you can put a picture of the kittens n the header) or something? Sadly we aren't on the same blogging platform, or we could exchange tips on the best way to do it!
